Water: Medium, can survive and bloom in moderately xeric conditions. However, it grows larger, blooms longer and more profusely, and remains more attractive, if given moderate amounts supplemental irrigation.
Soil: Does well in heavier soil with higher moisture-holding capacities but can also thrive in well-drained sandy or gravelly substrates.

Bloom Color: White to cream to yellowish-green
Notes: Remove stems of faded flowers to encourage additioal bloom.
Uses: Excellent in rock gardens, also good in borders and open woodland gardens. Foliage has good accent value. Mass or plant in groups.
